Handmade in Morocco by women artisans using a unique material—plant-based silk derived from aloe vera, often simply referred to as cactus silk. The process involves crushing, soaking, and pressing the plant leaves to extract the fibers, which are then spun into threads and dyed with natural pigments. This centuries-old technique has remained unchanged!
The women artisans are given the freedom to express their creativity by selecting one of about five traditional Berber motifs—symbols that always carry positive meanings related to home and fertility. They also choose thread combinations for embroidery, ensuring each creation is unique. This artistic approach imbues every pillow with the heartfelt warmth of handcrafted work.
Rugs from our regular collections are already in our warehouse and will be shipped to you within 1-2 days after placing your order. The delivery time will depend on the chosen delivery service.

The easiest way to do clean your rug is to clean the rug on a weekly basis with a canister vacuum side to side (not end-to-end) with the beater bar on the highest setting. If you need to spot clean your rug, do so with warm water and just a little detergent. Wool naturally repels liquids at first contact so treat it quickly with a dry cloth and follow up with water and detergent and you should be fine.
